What is Ansible?
Ansible is an open-source software provisioning, configuration management, and application-deployment tool enabling infrastructure as code. It runs on many Unix-like systems and can configure both Unix-like systems as well as Microsoft Windows. It includes its own declarative language to describe system configuration.
What is Red Hat Ansible Tower?
Ansible Tower is a REST API, web service, and web-based console designed to make Ansible more usable for IT teams with members of different technical proficiencies and skill sets. It is a hub for automation tasks.
What I learned...?
We can integrate both using a Job Template, creating a different python virtual environment in our ansible cloud.
Ansible Tower can help to launch playbooks to run simultaneously.
Ansible in microservices.
Then they gave a demonstration on how to do CI/CD and send notifications on the slack channel to view success and failed notification two every team member.
CHATOPS — integrated slack by using ansible tower.
Ansible tower can also be used for GitOps functionality.
Credential types in ansible tower can be used for adding most clouds like oracle, Digital Ocean, IBM Cloud, etc.
At last, I would like to say thanks to Vimal Daga Sir and Preeti Chandak Ma'am for organizing such a great session.
